The\u00a0MacGuffin<\/strong> dual drive pedal is a 2-in-1 combination of two iconic overdrive pedal circuits in one box: One side is our take on the near-mythological Klon Centaur, while the other side is the Function f(x) version of the classic Marshall Bluesbreaker overdrive. What’s more, the MacGuffin<\/strong> offers effect order switching, so you can have either drive circuit first in the chain.<\/p>\n

For the Centaur -alike side, there is a clipping diode selector switch that toggles between classic germanium diodes or silicon diodes. On the BB side, the selector switch offers the choice of hard diode clipping (heavier drive with more compression) or soft diode clipping (more moderate overdrive).<\/p>\n

\"MacGuffin<\/h3>\n

The MacGuffin<\/strong> uses the same innovative bypass switching setup as our Third Rail<\/strong><\/a> overdrive, which allows for On\/On, Flip Flop, and Momentary bypassing modes.\u00a0 The bypass modes are: one channel on at a time, flip\/flop between each channel, or switch both channels on at once (with momentary bypass on the second foot switch for stutter effects). Best of all, the MacGuffin<\/strong> remembers which mode you prefer even if you unplug the power supply.<\/p>\n

As with all Function f(x) pedals, the MacGuffin<\/b>\u00a0sports a soft-touch, relay-based true bypass switching system.<\/p>\n
